Tinnitus

Mild tinnitus is common – about 10 per cent of the population have it all the time and, in up to 1 in 100 of adults, this may affect the quality of their life (British Tinnitus Association).

Hypnotherapy can help you treat your tinnitus in a number of ways by;

  • Dramatically reducing your stress levels
  • Helping you to gain control over your mind to turn down or even turn off tinnitus sounds
  • Making you less sensitive to the sounds
  • Helping you to deal with the root cause if it was brought on by stress or anxiety

Many people state the noise becomes worse if they are anxious or stressed, or if they are suffering from depression

If you suffer with tinnitus, your quality of life may be affected in a number of ways. Perhaps you feel anxious or stressed about it, it’s distracting or your sleep is affected.

It’s also not something that many people know much about. This can lead to feelings of isolation and that other people don’t understand what you’re going through. One of the key ways of treating the symptoms of tinnitus is by reducing stress levels and boosting coping mechanisms.

A recent study into the effectiveness of hypnotherapy on tinnitus showed that 73% of participants succeeded in reducing their symptoms.

The experience of hypnosis is different to what we see on the TV. It’s relaxing, enjoyable and you remain in control throughout. It’s about you getting in control of your own mind, and leaving feeling empowered, relaxed and with a sense that you have everything you need to face the world.

Why not start taking control now and find out how hypnotherapy can help you with your tinnitus.
